WPC

What is WPC ?

The WPC Licence for restricted wireless items is issued by the Wireless Planning & Coordination (WPC) Wing of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to regulate the import of high-frequency RF devices. Arkca Corporate assists importers and dealers in obtaining WPC Import Licence and Dealer Possession License (DPL), enabling legal access to specific RF bands, compliance with DoT and DGFT regulations, error-free documentation, and hassle-free customs clearance for restricted wireless devices such as antennas, transmitters, receivers, and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi-enabled equipment.

Why WPC is needed ?

  1. Streamline RF Operations
Ensures imported restricted devices operate on authorized frequency bands without interfering with other wireless communications networks in India.
  2. Legal Import Authorization
Provides a valid permit to import and sell restricted wireless products under DoT and DGFT regulations.
  3. DPL Compliance Requirement
Mandatory Dealer Possession License (DPL) is required for operating restricted wireless devices under licensed RF bands in India.
  4. Simplified Customs Clearance
Facilitates hassle-free customs procedures, preventing delays, fines, or seizure of restricted wireless imports.
  5. Regulatory Standards Assurance
Ensures imported devices meet technical standards for RF emission, safety, and interference-free operation.
  6. Market Access Facilitation
Enables importers and dealers to legally sell and distribute restricted wireless products in India’s regulated RF spectrum.
